| Bridgestone inaugurates regions first Truck Tyre Centre in Ghala |

Bridgestone Middle East & Africa FZE reinforced its position in Oman with the inauguration of ‘Bridgestone Truck Tyre Centre’ in Ghala. The new premise is positioned as the first of its kind Truck Tyre Centre in the Gulf region. The center hosts a variety of highly efficient and effective modes for Truck Tyre fitting, Truck Tyre balancing, Truck wheel alignment, Tyre repair facility as well as Passenger Car Tyre fitting.
The Truck Tyre Centre features a unique truck tyre alignment machine that will be used for aligning the wheels. Truck Alignment is a unique mechanism adapted by this centre and is the only one available in Oman. Lack of accurate alignment or misalignment of wheels is a big risk factor, inviting problems like excessive tyre wear ‘n tear, increased fuel consumption caused by increased rolling resistance, unsafe vehicle handling characteristics, driver fatigue and driver retention. With this new facility, customers can expect longer tyre life thus reducing overhead costs.
The new Tyre Division Head office also houses a state-of-the-art training facility, which will be used by Bridgestone professionals to train and impart knowledge to its customers and Towell Auto staff. Exclusively trained specialists for truck tyre service, the Truck Tyre Centre and the showroom exhibit a warm and friendly atmosphere that creates a comfort zone. It also has a waiting room for customers to rest while their vehicles tyres are replaced.
In keeping in line with its concept of “Closer to Customers”, Towell Auto Centre, the sole representative for Bridgestone in Oman has set up 14 state of the art ‘Tyre Care Plus’ outlets in Wadi Kabir, Bausher, Ghala, Goubra, Rusayl, Barkha, Saham, Sohar, Karsha, Nizwa, Ibri, Sur, Salalah and Buali. Bridgestone has also set up two Truck Centres located in Nimr and now in Ghala.
